The Clay Studio Café
The Clay Studio has a range of quality food and beverages for you to enjoy while painting. Alternatively just come into The Clay Studio for something to eat and drink and relax. You do not have to paint to enjoy what we have to offer. We provide newspapers and comfortable chairs for you to relax. As you can expect with The Clay Studio, the finished pottery on display ensures a pleasant and stimulating environment. We serve food and drink every hour that The Clay Studio is open including late at night. We are also licensed so you can also enjoy wines, beers and ciders and even jugs of Pimm's to share.
If you are in a rush, enjoy a quality take-away tea or coffee with a freshly-made sandwich or cake.
We aim to change our menu on a regular basis to offer new tastes and to take advantage of some of the best local food that is available. We are fortunate to be in an area where there are wonderful, locally-produced foods and we feature these in our menu options. Try a pork pie made from New Forest pork, locally-baked bread, Purbeck dairy ice cream or New Forest Smoothies.
Our breakfast menu is available until 12pm. This offers a range of interesting breakfast choices to provide variety and a good reason to go out for breakfast.
Many visitors have praised our coffee. We grind our coffee regularly so that it is as fresh as possible. Our decaffeinated coffee is ground to order so that we can maintain a high quality. Soft drinks include a broad range of Coca-Cola products, both carbonated and non-carbonated such as Minute Maid juice drinks. Our local beverage suppliers include New Forest Water and New Forest Smoothies. Our drinks menu includes locally-brewed beers, New Forest cider and perry while our wines include a number from Setley Ridge vineyard in the New Forest. We also have a range of summer cocktails.
| Try a New Forest Cream Tea Our cream tea includes tasty fruit scones baked locally by a small, family bakery in the New Forest along with jam made from New Forest fruits and Dorset clotted cream. Add a pot of tea in one of our unique hand-painted pots and you have something truly memorable. No wonder that many come back to The Clay Studio just to have one of our special cream teas. |
