Halloween inspiration for Kidz half-term painting

2 October 2007

How do you keep the children entertained over half-term as well as inspired? The Clay Studio will be running its popular Kidz Painting Academy workshops on 24 and 26 October 2007 at 10am.

In line with the approaching Halloween we will be teaching our younger painters how to paint a pumpkin-themed mug or bowl, something seasonal but which can be used everyday.

Advance booking is required for these Kidz workshops. A fee of just £12 covers the cost of pottery, paints, glazing and firing, tuition from trained The Clay Studio staff, drink, biscuit and a certificate of achievement. The mug or bowl will be available for collection glazed and fired a few days later.

The Clay Studio is open seven days a week with a range of around 150 different pottery items to paint. For the month of October this includes special Halloween pottery such as witch hats, pumpkin tea light holders and even wizard ornaments. With our Kidz Halloween party taking place during the evening of 31 October, Halloween can be creative and inspirational.

The Clay Studio is a contemporary pottery painting studio, offering visitors the opportunity to paint their own pottery and learn different painting and decorative effects through the Painting Academy and by having trained staff always on-hand. Alongside the painting is The Clay Studio Café which offers snacks and beverages, sourced, wherever possible, from local Dorset and Hampshire producers.
