Enjoy lunch or just a coffee and relax at the same time. The Clay Studio in Christchurch is about much more than pottery painting. The Clay Studio Café is becoming increasingly popular as somewhere for a light lunch or a superb cup of coffee. Not only does the café offer high quality food and beverages, locally-sourced wherever possible, but the atmosphere of the café is both relaxing and entertaining.

We have now expanded the range of art for sale on the walls to complement the beautifully-painted pottery. Our collection of abstract photography by Ringwood artist Dave Osborne has generated interest and so we have invited three other local artists to display their work for sale at The Clay Studio. Our latest addition is the work of New Milton painter Wendy Brown.

Wendy provides an alternative and refreshing view of local landscapes such as Mudeford harbour entrance, Milford on Sea, Beaulieu and the Needles. Limited edition prints are available framed or as greetings cards.

All of the art available at The Clay Studio can be viewed on The Clay Studio Web site at www.theclaystudio.co.uk/cafe/art.htm.

The Clay Studio is all about having fun but at the same time learning useful skills. Painting pottery helps everyone to express their creativity while having a fun time.

The Clay Studio is a contemporary pottery painting studio, offering visitors the opportunity to paint their own pottery and learn different painting and decorative effects through the Painting Academy and by having trained staff always on-hand. Alongside the painting is The Clay Studio Café which offers snacks and beverages, sourced, wherever possible, from local Dorset and Hampshire producers.
