Halloween fun at The Clay Studio

18 September 2007

Dressing up as witches and wizards is a great way to spend Halloween. Why not have even more fun by painting pottery, apple-bobbing, face-painting and enjoying a special Halloween buffet? All of this is possible at The Clay Studio on 31 October 2007.

Our first Kidz Halloween Party takes place from 6-9pm. We invite young witches and wizards, ghosts, pumpkins and other Halloween characters to join us for an evening of painting and Halloween fun, all topped off with a special Halloween-themed buffet. We will have our usual large selection of pottery items to paint as well as a range of special Halloween treats. What’s more, we will be giving a prize for the best fancy dress.

Admission from 6pm is by £5 advance ticket only. This includes the Studio Fee, buffet, participation in the games and a chance to win the fancy dress prize. You choose your pottery and pay for that on the evening. Grown-ups are welcome to attend. Adult tickets cost £2 including a tea or coffee. Adults are also welcome to paint or choose from our usual food and drink menu. Any painted items will be available for collection within one week.

The Clay Studio is all about having fun but at the same time learning useful skills. Painting pottery helps everyone to express their creativity while having a fun time.

The Clay Studio is a contemporary pottery painting studio, offering visitors the opportunity to paint their own pottery and learn different painting and decorative effects through the Painting Academy and by having trained staff always on-hand. Alongside the painting is The Clay Studio Café which offers snacks and beverages, sourced, wherever possible, from local Dorset and Hampshire producers.
