Clay Babies - Mums and Babies Painting Fun in Christchurch

At The Clay Studio we are constantly looking for new ways to have fun painting pottery. The Clay Studio has already proved to be very popular with mums and babies as a relaxing place to meet up and have a coffee or lunch. Following this, we are extending our Painting Academy painting courses with a new Clay Babies course for mums and their babies.
Each Clay Babies course consists of four sessions. These run Tuesday mornings and afternoons although you can choose the times that you attend to suit your own schedule. A different project is completed each week, providing a series of unique gifts for family or friends.

Clay imprint – preserve the baby’s early years with hands and feet set in clay.

Clock – complete a working clock with the baby adding hands or feet.

Prints on mugs – two mugs with the baby’s hands or feet.

Creative hands and feet – let your imagination run wild with a plate that uses the baby’s hands or feet to make something a bit different.
Each Clay Babies course costs just £95 inclusive of all bisque pottery, paints, glazing & firing and tuition from trained The Clay Studio staff. Numbers for each session are limited so advance booking is necessary.
The Clay Studio is a contemporary pottery painting studio, offering visitors the opportunity to paint their own pottery and learn different painting and decorative effects through the Painting Academy and by having trained staff always on-hand. Alongside the painting is The Clay Studio Café which offers snacks, hot & cold and alcoholic beverages, sourced, wherever possible, from local Dorset and Hampshire producers.
